Ready to resolve open issues with Belgrade, meeting with Vucic is underway

The Government of Montenegro is ready to resolve all open issues with official Belgrade, because those are two close countries, historically close, the Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic said after the meeting with Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic in Belgrade. A meeting with the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic is underway, .

At today's meeting, he said, the economy was the main subject and it was agreed to establish direct payment system between the two countries.

Abazovic said that two countries must make "a fresh start" in relations and raise them to the highest possible level.

"That policy will be the same with all countries in the region, but because of the closeness of two countries, it is unnatural to have any noise in communications. I beleive and feel that we are ready to approach all issues in a responsible manner at the benefit of the citizens of both countries" Abazovic said.
