ABAZOVIC

We offer a minority government, but without the DPS and DF

The leader of the Civic Movement URA and Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro Dritan Abazovic said that the Black and White coalition offers the creation of minority governments, which, as he pointed out, is one of the possible solutions to the government crisis.

The offer for support to the minority government will be sent to 81 deputies, says Abazovic, adding that there would be no place for DPS and DF in it. If he is the one who makes decisions, as he said, there would be room for some ministry from the current government in the new government.

Speaking at the press conference of the Black and White Coalition, Abazovic said that they offer a model that they believe is a possible solution to the political crisis: "We offer to create a minority government, which would be support by everyone, 81 members of parliament will be offered, with the desire that consensus be as broad as possible at the level of at least 49 deputies.”

He reiterates that the DPS will not return to power, and that the goal is to unblock the path to the European Union.

Abazovic also said that international partners are looking for stability, which should be achieved by the country's internal forces.

He also claims that foreign partners neither create nor destroy the Government of Montenegro.

He also said that the current government has done some good things, reminding that URA supported the executive power to the maximum and was the strongest pillar on which the government relies.

"If someone has a solution for its sustainability, we are here to hear it," said Abazovic, stating that their concept is clear.

"If no one has their own proposal and do not want to support the minority government, as far as the government is concerned, it will function until 2024," Abazovic said.

He also points out that elections remain an open option, and that the mandate should be returned to the citizens. If they cannot realize ideas from the position of the government, as he said, it is not a problem for them to leave and fight for them from the position of the opposition.
