Stores have enough groceries, no problems with procurement

The Minister of Economic Development and Tourism, Goran Durovic, met with the representatives of the largest domestic trade chains in the country and the Chamber of Commerce on the topic of the stability of the system of supply of basic foodstuffs, the ministry announced. Representatives of retail chains said that at this moment they have sufficient stocks of basic foodstuffs and all other products important to citizens, especially during the tourist season, and that the procurement of most of them is made without problems.

"Representatives of retail chains also pointed out certain problems and limitations pointing out the ideas how to solved in the coming period. Due to the significant share of trade with the Republic of Serbia, especially the export quotas that the country recently introduced, trade representatives see the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic to Belgrade as an important impetus for economic co-operation between the two countries, "the statement said.
