MUNICIPALITY ASEMBLY SESSION

Todorovic is the President of the Municipality of Berane

Vuko Todorovic, the head of the DF coalition list "For the Future of Berane" and the current director of the Water Utility Company, was elected the new president of the Municipality of Berane today at a session of the local parliament.

19 councilors of the new majority from the Democratic Front (DF), Democratic Montenegro, the “Berane Sad” movement, “Prava” and United Montenegro voted for Todorovic, while councilors from the SNP and the coalition gathered around the DPS were against.

Todorovic said he would work to create new jobs in the real sector, to prevent emigration from Berane.

He also announced signing of a coalition agreement, and did not want to talk about the distribution of positions in the local government.

The vice president of the municipality will be Damjan Culafic (Democrats), who said that Todorovic will have a sincere associate in them.

"We can manage without the SNP, that time will show it, the government will certainly be stable," said CulafiC.

The second vice president of the municipality will be Mladen Premovic from the "Berane sad" movement.

The session was chaired by the President of the Municipal Assembly, Novica Obradovic.
