ABAZOVIC
We feel positive energy towards Montenegro in Brussels
Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic and Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign Policy, European Integration and Regional Cooperation and Minister for European Affairs Jovana Marovic met with Co-Chair of the EU-Montenegro Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee (SAPC) Vladimír Bilcik in Brussels.
Head of Mission of Montenegro to the European Union, Ambassador Petar Markovic, Chief of the Office of the Prime Minister Ana Rašovic, and Prime Minister's Adviser Djordje Radulovic were also present at the meeting.
Prime Minister Abazovic pointed out that positive energy towards Montenegro is being felt in Brussels.
We are convinced that the tangible results in the rule of law that we will achieve in Montenegro will result in rapid progress on our integration path, said PM Abazovic.
The Prime Minister stated that, in cooperation with the Parliament, he wants to open a political dialogue, emphasizing the importance of unity and broad consensus on the most important topics, noting that the same applies to the region and regional cooperation.
SAPC Co-Chair Vladimír Bilcík pointed out that the European Parliament wants a lot of positive news from the region, and that the pro-European Government in Montenegro is an example of such positive news.
Later today, Prime Minister Abazovic will address MEPs, members of the Delegation to the EU-Montenegro Stabilization and Association Parliamentary Committee.
