NEW MEASURES
Masks mandatory in shops, pharmacies, public institutions...
Due to the deterioration of the epidemic situation in Montenegro, caused by the corona virus, it will be mandatory to wear protective masks in the next 15 days, and the health authorities have once again appealed to citizens to get vaccinated against covid-19 infection.
The course of the epidemic will show whether a fifth dose will be needed, say the Institute of Public Health (IJZ), and note that vaccination will exist because it is a pillar of medicine that saves lives.
IJZ Director Igor Galic said that due to the increase in the number of infected and hospitalized, measures were introduced, such as the mandatory wearing of protective masks in all public administration institutions, as well as in grocery stores, pharmacies and gas stations.
"Wearing of protective masks in closed areas of the airport, railway and bus stations is mandatory. If these measures do not lead to an improvement in the situation in the coming period, measures of mandatory wearing of masks in all closed areas will follow," said Galic, urging everyone who did not vaccinated so far to do so.
