SEKULIC AT THE HEARING

We work in the interest of the economic development

All the activities the government has implemented in the previous two years in the field of energy were meant to benefit economic development, the only factor that can bring better jobs and higher wages, said Minister of Economy Dragica Sekulic.

"Only healthy and market-oriented Elektroprivreda (EPCG) can work for the benefit of our citizens. Only management that works for the benefit of the enterprise it runs, without flirting with politics and populism, can work for the benefit of the enterprise, that is of the state and citizens," Sekulic told during consultative hearing at the Assembly.
At the session of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget, she stated that the intention of the Government was that every citizen benefits from the energy sector. Sekulic recalled that Montenegro was the only country in the region that has an open energy chapter and the only one against which there is no open case for violating energy rights.
