GEGAJ ABOUT TUZI

There will be a referendum, hasty reaction of Siništaj

DPS official, Nikola Gegaj evaluated legitimate, but hasty and unnecessary announcement of Vaselj Sinistaj that the Civic Initiative will leave the coalition with the DPS, because the party is permanently disposed the independence question of Tuzi.

Gegaj said that all parties have the right to decide with who they will be in the coalition, so anyone can decide whether to form a coalition with the DPS.

"The decision of the Civic Initiative is legitimate, but unnecessary. None has made hasty decisions, it is necessary to consider the situation within the coalition, especially when we are talking about DPS coalition with Albanian parties in Montenegro", said Gegaj.

Earlier this year,  Siništaj said that the Citizens' Initiative is determined to leave ruling coalition, because DPS does not respect the coalition agreement by which the referendum for an independent municipality of Tuzi should be held by the end of September.

Gegaj said that the referendum would take place, explaining that the current deadlines are unrealistic. He reiterated that before the referendum it must be conducted feasibility study.

"It is simply impossible to finish the study of Municipal feasibility and sustainability in less of 60 days, or until the end of September. I have no right to impugn someone's work, especially work of consulting companies and people who made the study because they have references and experience for that job, and they have given new suggestions and comments on It.", said Gegaj.
