CORONA VIRUS

The number of patients in the world reached 4.2 million

The number of people infected with the Covid-19 virus worldwide reached almost 4.2 million, while almost 1.5 million people recovered, according to the latest data from the Worldometer portal.

As specified, 4,181,307 people became infected with the new coronavirus, and 1,493,556 recovered.

As a result of coronavirus, 283,880 people died in the world, the most in the United States (USA) - 80,787, where there are the most patients - 1,367,638.

Immediately behind the USA in terms of the number of patients is still Spain with 264,663, while in terms of the number of deaths, the United Kingdom is in second place, where 31,855 people died.

Italy, which has long been first on the list of countries with the highest number of patients and deaths, is now in fourth place, as the number of new cases and deaths is decreasing daily.

In China, the number of patients started to grow again after almost 14 days, and in the last 24 hours, 17 new cases were reported in that country, which is why there are fears of the outbreak of the second wave.

The situation is similar in South Korea, where the number of new cases is growing for the second day in a row, and the largest number of new cases is related to nightclubs and bars in Seoul.

Of the South American countries, the worst situation is still in Brazil, where 162,699 people became ill, and in the Middle East in Iran, where 107,603 people tested positive for the corona virus.
