INSPECTION

The measures are mostly violated in Podgorica, Ulcinj...

Due to non-compliance with the new NKT measures, the Tourist Inspectorate issued 141 misdemeanor orders in the total amount of 153,250 euros and submitted 14 requests for initiating misdemeanor proceedings, Chief Tourist Inspector Svetlana Sljivancanin said.

The introduced measures were mostly violated in Podgorica, Ulcinj, Budva and Herceg Novi. In the north, the measures were mostly violated in Berane and Bijelo Polje, said Sljivancanin in the TVCG morning program.

"We issued 62 misdemeanor orders in the total amount of 75,700 euros and submitted 11 requests for initiating misdemeanor proceedings in Podgorica only,"  Sljivancanin said.

She also announced that the citizens filed 191 complaints due to non-compliance with the measures.

When it comes to filing misdemeanor measures, she points out that these requests mainly refer to entities that have not complied with the inspector's recommendations on several occasions.

"Now the situation is so serious that there is no place for preventive action," Sljivancanin said.

"I would ask the hospitality industry to take the situation seriously and to help us not to impose fines and not to close facilities," Sljivancanin concluded.
