No one is considering the closure of Meljine Hospital

The significance of Meljine Hospital is unquestionable and the State is continually working to find a high-quality and sustainable solution to the problems in that institution, Prime Minister Dusko Markovic said at a meeting with the representatives of the Trade Union of the General Hospital Meljine.

“We are joining forces to find a solution. I am sure that no one is considering the closure of Meljine Hospital. The State has a clear interest in ensuring the smooth functioning of the health care system and high-quality health care for citizens of that part of Montenegro as well as for tourists," Prime Minister Markovic stressed.
Representatives of the Trade Union, headed by President Slavica Drobnjak, informed PM Markovic about hospital's difficult situation as well as all the activities they implement to ensure the functioning of the system.
The Prime Minister noted that the commitment of employees to this institution is honourable
