Opposition to respond by Saturday

Representatives of the protest „97 hiljada– Odupri se" (97 thousand- Resist), believe that the opposition parties will sign the Agreement on the Future by Saturday because, they consider, there is no reason not to achieve unity.

Representatives of the movement "Odupri se" have proposed to the opposing parties an agreement to jointly work on forming of a government of civil unity, the main task of which would be to create the conditions for fair and free elections.

One of the organizers of the protest, Dzemal Perovic, told at the press conference that the protests were both political and civil and that one did not rule out the other, while the street was the only free institution.
"People are social beings that make norms in order to make life easier for them. They make laws that produce consequences of social nature," Perovic said.
He said that the agreement will be offered to other political parties.
"This is now a roadmap, a way towards shift of power. Not as Markovic threatened –by coup, but by transition," Perovic said.
Regarding the call for dialogue made by Prime Minister Dusko Markovic, Perovic said that it can not happen as long as there are comments that someone else is standing behind them.
"When a serious invitation to dialogue comes, then we can talk," Perovic said.
He said that they do not have the Democratic Front (DF) response yet.
"We are confident that DF will wisely assess achieved unity of citizens and will do everything to implement this peaceful transition together," Perovic said.
