BRAJOVIC SAID

RTCG not to be service of political parties or NGOs

Montenegrin Radio Television needs to be a service of Montenegrin citizens, and not service of parties or non-governmental organizations, said the president of the Assembly Ivan Brajovic in an interview with Radio Montenegro.

He also pointed out that it would be much better to pay more attention to professionals in the RTCG, than to the stories and discussions of Council sessions.

Brajovic reiterated that the Administrative Board decided in accordance with the law when it had made changes in the RTCG Council. He believes that Montenegrin media lack professionalism, and that common goal is to make the situation better.
He recalled that the RTCG budget was higher than the Assembly's budget for this year.

"This should not be the service of a party, neither the service of some other parties or non-governmental organizations. I think that this should be a public service made to measure of Montenegrin citizens and it should report in the way it considers is in the best interest of Montenegrin citizens, and then let any political structures, NGO structures or anyone else be angry with them. I think that we all need to strive for that, we have not yet reached this level," Brajovic said.
He said that he read in the media about the contract between RTCG and the CGO. "It seems like an insult to the professionals in this house, if that's the case," Brajovic said, adding that he expects answer to that question.

Brajovic expects good results in the local elections, for which the victory of Milo Djukanovic in the presidential elections, as he says, will be the wind in the back.

He expects good result in Podgorica also, and recalls that Djukanovic in capital city won 2,000 votes more than his political opponents.
