MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS

Checking whereabouts of persons of security interest

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) intensively checks the whereabouts of persons of security interest on the territory of Montenegro.

As the Radio-Television of Montenegro (RTCG) learns, BiH citizen Igor Bosnjak is deported because of internal security issues.

His lawyer Srdjan Ljeskovic filled the appeal on the decision, stating that there were no reasons to determine that Bosnjak poses a threat to the state.

"I do not understand why this family is stigmatized by the Police Directorate through deportation of its member from the country where he spent his whole life. He was only born in Trebinje because Herceg Novi had no maternity ward and he spent his whole life at the Savina, socializing with people who may be persons of security interest in Montenegro today, "said Ljeskovic.
