Bulgarian support on the path to EU

Bulgaria will strongly support the path of Montenegro to the European Union during the upcoming six-month EU Presidency, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev said after talks with Montenegrin Parliament Speaker Ivan Brajovic, who is in official visit to Bulgaria.

Brajovic, as he says, is extremely pleased with the messages he heard during official meetings in Bulgaria.

"We witnessed hospitality on every step and the desire to show the path Montenegro should continue to go, through the exchange of experiences, suggesting good and bad, and in everyone’s opinion, judging by the things it has accomplished , Montenegro has deserved to be called the leader in region, " Brajovic said.

Support comes from Bulgarian President Radev.

"I want to assure you that during our Presidency, Montenegro will be presented as a good example of how it looks to work very hard on implementing all the necessary reforms and on fulfilling the standards, so I invited President Filip Vujanovic to be the first president of a country to visit Bulgaria during our the Presidency, as a very clear support to Montenegro from us for your efforts, "Radev said.
