MANDIC AFTER THE MEETING

We are waiting for the opposition until October 1

An absolute priority for the Democratic Front currently is to find a common language with opposition, whose response to the offered platform will be waited until October 1, New Serbian Democracy leader Andrija Mandic said after a meeting in the EU Delegation in Podgorica.

Mandic said that they will wait until October 1 for the opposition's response to their offer to come together to protest, to establish a joint candidate for presidential elections and joint lists for local elections.

"If we have one candidate, one list and protests, we will secure the extraordinary elections," Mandic said, adding that DF will make a decision that will be the best for voters after the opposition's response.

Mandic reiterated that the EU ambassadors have no understanding for the boycott and say that MPs places are in the Parliament. Asked whether the DF was ready for the dialogue with the ruling coalition Mandic reiterated that the unity of the opposition was their priority.

Boykot remains, the prime minister on the move

The boycott of Parliament is not ideal, but in these circumstances is the only solution, said the leader of the Socialist People's Party Vladimir Jokovic. After a meeting in the EU Delegation in Podgorica he said that it is on the government and the prime minister now to initiate talks.

"I do not see why we should not open a dialogue now to finally organize fair elections," Jokovic said, adding that talks could start in October.
