DECISION MADE

High Medical School stays in Berane

The High Medical School (VMS) remains in Berane, it was decided by the University Board of Montenegro (UCG) Board of Directors, Montenegro Television reports.

At the session, it was decided to announce a competition for enrollment of 72 freshmen in the HighMedicalSchool in Berane.

11 members of the UCG Board of Directors supported the decision of the Government of Montenegro. Rector Radmila Vojvodic and members of the Board on behalf of the academic community left the session before the debate and voting.

First, the UCG Board of Directors decided to transfer the school from Berane to Podgorica. Then the government decided that the school would not be removed.
