At today's session of the Operational Headquarters, as reported from the Ministry of the Interior, special attention was paid to the situation regarding the fires in the LovcenNational Park.

"It was noted that, despite the complexity of the situation, all the fires are under control and at this moment they do not endanger the Mausoleum and the facilities at the Ivanova Korita Resort. In extinguishing the fire participated members of the protection and rescue services of Cetinje, Podgorica and Budva, as well as members of the Army of Montenegro and the MIA’s Directorate for Emergency Situations, with the engagement of a fire-fighting aircraft, "the statement said.

The operational staff is, as stated, informed about the fires in other municipalities where the situation is significantly better.

"The staff members expressed their full respect for all members of the protection and rescue system that contributed to the fire extinguishing in the open space in the previous period.
