MARKOVIC - AJHORST

Boycott is not the solution of the issue

Montenegro is committed to preserving the stability and the continuation of the integration process in order to provide a better quality of life.

This was the comment of the Prime Minister Dusko Markovic, during the meeting with the Director for Western Europe, Western Balkans and Turkey Angelina Eichhorst.

During meeting, held in Sarajevo on the margins of the Summit of Prime Ministers of the Western Balkans, Markovic presented to Eichhorst the current political situation and the Government's efforts to tackle the problem.

He stated that, as announced by the Markovic’s cabinet, the boycott was not and could not be the answer to problems, but that through the active political dialogue had to be found sustainable solutions.

Agreeing with this assessment, Eichhorst said that Montenegro is a leader in the European integration process in the Balkans and that the EU would continue to support the reform agenda of our country.
