A DEPUTY SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN SELF-ISOLATION
Session of the Croatian Parliament adjourned urgently
The President of the Croatian Parliament interrupted the session today because one of the deputies appeared at the session, although, allegedly, she was supposed to be in self-isolation.
Namely, the President of the Parliament, reminded Dalija Oreskovic that her club sent a letter to the Secretariat of the Parliament on November 26 that she would be in isolation for seven days due to contacts with an infected person.
"Yesterday, your club sent a letter that you will be in self-isolation - you and Anka Mrak Taritas. Now you are here, what is it about?" he asked the MP.
"I am in self-isolation as determined by the general practitioner, that is ten days from the contact I had with the infected person, and how you designed the system and how those 10 days are calculated is not my responsibility," Oreskovic replied, Jutarnji reports.
The President of the Parliament rejected such a transfer of responsibility, and repeated what her Women's Club had written to the Secretariat.
“You are not in self-isolation, do you have a test proving you are negative?” he asked and got a negative answer.
"Then we will adjourn the session to establish the facts, I will not allow that, this is a threat to the health of the deputies," the Speaker of Parliament said, and then adjourned the session.
After the break, it was determined that Oreskovic could still attend the session of the Parliament today.
